What We Do

P5 Infra is an investment and operating platform focused on transportation infrastructure and essential service businesses. We pair disciplined capital with hands-on operating leadership to acquire and improve mission-critical assets and businesses.

Where We Focus

01 / Investment Focus

Essential assets and services, connected networks

We focus on ports and marine terminals—including liquid-bulk storage and handling—alongside rail, intermodal, freight infrastructure, and essential service businesses that support these networks.

  • Ports & marine terminals
  • Tank & liquid-bulk facilities
  • Rail & intermodal
  • Freight & logistics assets and services

02 / Commodity Diversity

Built for varied cargo flows

The infrastructure we evaluate can serve a diverse mix of cargo and customers. Our investment lens starts with the quality of the asset or business, its strategic role, and the opportunity to strengthen operations—not a single commodity.

  • Containers
  • Ro-Ro & automotive
  • Breakbulk & project cargo
  • Dry bulk
  • Liquid bulk
  • Agricultural & food cargo

Selected Experience

Prior leadership experience

Fenix Marine Services, Pier 300

Prior leadership experience includes the December 2017 acquisition of Fenix Marine Services from CMA CGM Group alongside EQT. The 292-acre Pier 300 terminal is one of the largest by footprint in the Los Angeles/Long Beach port complex. During the investment period, container volume grew 24% (1.7M to 2.1M TEU), crane productivity improved 40% (20 to 28 gross moves per hour), and revenue grew 72% ($402M to $690M).

Prior leadership experience

Take-private of a public company 2024

P5 Infra executives served as CEO, CFO, and CTO of a diversified marine terminal and industrial services platform acquired at an enterprise value of approximately $1 billion. At acquisition, the company generated $850 million in revenue and $110 million in EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization). Its core marine business was a leading North American break bulk and bulk operator, handling more than 40 million tons annually across 88 terminals at 60 ports. P5 Solutions provided shared services and developed and helped execute the Value Creation Plan and Full Potential Plan, which included separating the business into three distinct segments. After the separation, the company sold a non-core terminal for >$100 million, and in 2026 sold the marine business to a strategic buyer. Equity investors retain ownership of the two non-marine businesses.
